Fans first started to speculate that there was something romantic going on between D’Amelio and Beck following her breakup from Johnson. At the time, the couple told The Hollywood Fix that they were nothing more than “BFFs.”

Beck appeared alongside D’Amelio in her “Be Happy (Remix)” music video and they shared a steamy smooch, which further sparked romance rumors.
